We are expanding. You may have noticed this because we've had a few more of these interviews recently.   No-one is leaving, so the Glasgow office is getting ever more full (but we still have some desks to fill if anyone good out there is looking!).

Anyway, that's enough advertising for Be-IT.  Our latest arrival has a cat that is also a tad ursine.  She also likes Japanese food and gin, but presumably not in the same glass.  She is...

DawnGillies

Name:
Dawn Gillies

Job title: Recruitment Consultant

What other jobs have you done apart from working in recruitment?

Insurance sales and working in a bakery.

What it your biggest disaster at work (anywhere)?

I relocated office while working in insurance and as a senior I was asked to give the new starts a tour of the building. Which would have been fine… if I’d been given a tour myself and knew the building! Unsurprisingly there was a lot of made-up departments and cleaning cupboards visited in that tour.

What/who makes you laugh out loud?
My cat Jagger - she’s half bear, half cat. She’s just ridiculous to look at.  (see pic below and see what you think? - Ed).

When you were young, what was your favourite toy?

N64. Goldeneye. Man with the golden gun. Bagsy Odd-job

Favourite band/singer/artist?

Too many to name, favourites include Hozier, Mumford and Chvrches

As a new start, what was your initial impression of Be-IT after your first day in the office?

Lots of new faces and names to remember! But I immediately knew it was going to be a fun and friendly team to work with.

Favourite (non work) website and why?

Skyscanner because finding a cheap, random flight is the best excuse to go on holiday..

Favourite food and drink?
Japanese food and gin

Favourite techie gadget?
Apart from the obvious mobile phone, it would have to be Alexa.

And finally, what do you (honestly) want to be doing in ten years’ time?

Travelling!
