Be-IT update - working from home
Posted on 16th March 2020
Following my message yesterday about how Be-IT is dealing with the impact of the coronavirus, today, following the government’s revised advice (which I am sure will be regularly revised again very soon), we have moved to all our staff working from home.
As I indicated yesterday, we have tried and tested systems in place and, in fact, there will have been many occasions in the past when you have spoken to one of our consultants or resourcers and not been aware that they were working from home! Rest assured that with our systems all based in the cloud we can operate exactly as we would do in the office. Moreover, all our staff are live on Microsoft Teams* to each other throughout the working day, so communications, questions and assistance between team members will carry on as normal.
I am aware, as we all are, that these are unprecedented times. I stressed yesterday that our people, our clients and candidates, are at the heart of what we do. We know it’s going to be tough for everyone in the weeks and months ahead, but we also know that firms that have the same positive attitude as we do at Be-IT will be those which will come out of this best placed to regain the initiative when business conditions return to normal.
Finally, as we all settle down into this new way of working, if there is any aspect of our service or performance that you are unsure of or if you have any ideas of what we might do to make it easier for you, whether as a client or candidate, please let me know.
