We’re seeking to recruit an experienced Test Analyst for a large financial services business based in central Glasgow. You’ll be working in a highly agile / digital environment in a multi-disciplined team where business analysts, devs and product owners all work together creating great products for customers.

In this role you’ll participate and drive the testing of digital systems throughout the agile process while driving and implementing a test strategy using the appropriate testing tools and techniques. You’ll also introduce new practices and techniques into the business. In return you can expect a generous salary, fantastic pension scheme, flexible working and a ton of holidays. 

You’ll need the following to be considered: proven track record of testing software developments in a structured environment preferably using java-developed web based systems; the ability to work in a continually changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities at short notice; an excellent understanding of test levels (from unit tests to UAT) and ability to advise other team members; sound technical skills; understanding of high-level system architecture components such as application servers, databases and web services; understanding of basic programming constructs; experience in one or more test frameworks and scripting automated functional tests and finally experience of both agile and waterfall project delivery methodologies
