We’re seeking to recruit an experienced, Infrastructure and Security Solutions Architect for an established and highly successful non-profit organisation which has an impressive reputation in the market based in central Glasgow.

Within this role, you will be responsible for defining the architecture and design of applications in support of projects within a wider change programme, outlining application and technology roadmaps and assisting leadership teams determine the companies technical vision and strategy and driving its adoption throughout the business and delivery modern, scalable, resilient and secure multi-tiered architectural platform.

You will be expected to have had exposure to the following: Strong general experience across a wide range of the following technologies / areas; Infrastructure Design; Cloud Technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) Systems and Network Security; Software Development practises from a DevOps perspective and knowledge of modern CI/CD approaches and toolsets; Virtualisation approaches; Storage and Backup tools and techniques; Architectural design and documentation within identified areas of a multi-tiered architectural platform; An active member of technical forums and design clinics, working collaboratively to optimise your own and other’s designs; Planning, estimation and prioritisation of Architectural effort; Review of Technical Architectural goals, principles, practices,  and standards; Promoting innovation by leading research and development activities using new technologies, tools and techniques; Collaborate with customers, business and technical colleagues in the creation of Architecture and designs in support of individual projects within the context of a wider programme of work; Provide technical leadership to colleagues; Communicate and build relationships with multiple audiences at all levels, including senior stakeholders, management and board members.
