Be-IT is currently working with a ground-breaking medical technology and manufacturing company. This global company is looking to bring on a Testing Manufacturing Engineer for a brand-new team.
This role can be based in Glasgow or Stirling with remote working opportunities.
The purpose of the Testing Manufacturing Engineer is to ensure the test aspects of the products and future medical devices are to the desired manufacturing readiness levels prior to product transfer. You will be involved from early product development through to launch.
You should have the following skills and experiences: degree in engineering; manufacturing engineering experience; experience building and scaling teams; experience in developing process requirement specifications and collaborating with external parties; technical expertise in the area of manufacturing engineering - design for manufacturability, design and process excellence methodologies including Six Sigma, LEAN experience, cGMP (Goods Manufacturing Process), EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) guidelines, supplier development engineering and process validation. And finally, a background in the execution and transfer of Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
It would be beneficial to have medical device manufacturing experience; an understanding of injection moulding, polymers and commonly used materials in the medical device space and Lean Six Sigma accreditations. Even if you don’t have this experience, we still want to hear from you.
