We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with extensive data privacy and or security knowledge for a 12-month contract in central Edinburgh for a large FS/investments business. You must have significant experience working in large financial services or banking organisations.
Reporting to the GDPR Programme Manager and other senior stakeholders, you’ll help drive the delivery of a new EU data protection programme. This is a high priority work-stream which will have an impact across the business.
You’ll provide the following support; be the primary point of contact across all business areas in terms of delivery for the GDPR work-stream; you’ll produce weekly work-stream progress reports, for steering groups and other stakeholders, to include status, milestones and RAID etc; ensure that best practice, hints, tips and on-going lessons learned in each business area are shared; identify potential risks, issues, barriers and ‘blockers’, work with business areas to devise optimum solutions and report to the GDPR Programme Manager; assist in the maintenance of statutory records and registers including Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID); assist in producing/revising Information & Security policies, processes and controls finally provide ad-hoc support for the Programme Manager as and when required.
More specifically you’ll need the following: be an experienced Project Manager within financial services / banking organisations; previous regulatory change programme/project experience involving multiple business areas; data privacy and or security knowledge and finally, pervious experience of dealing with senior stakeholders in similar environments.
