I’m working with a global and widely recognised organisation with offices in central Glasgow who are seeking a Project Manager to join the team.

In this position you will be heavily involved in an information management project which is part of a large digital transformation programme.

You should have experience in the following:

  • Extensive experience of working in a well governed project environment and some experience of working in a Programme environment.
  • Proven experience in Project Management using best practice methodologies and processes.
  • Project Management qualification, such as Prince 2 Certified Practitioner, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering IT and non-IT projects.
  • Understanding of different project lifecycles for IT and non-IT projects.
  • Must be comfortable managing a technical project – must be able to understand the Information Management domain and its objectives to be able to make the right decisions
  • Demonstrable experience of Information Management projects: data models, data dictionaries, platform build out, design, build and test of data marts and BI reports
  • Experience of data migration projects: data modelling, ETL design, build, test, environment approach for data migration etc. Understand budgetary control and resource allocation procedures.
  • Be able to bridge the gap between low level technical detail and high level business understanding, including the articulation of data concepts / models as they pertain to Information Management deliverables across operational reporting, insight reporting, and data analytics.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of project management methodologies/approaches.
  • Knowledge and experience of the techniques for managing cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial awareness at a project level.
  • Previous experience of working on larger scale projects.
  • Understanding of people management skills and requirements.
