My client are a mutual organisation working within the healthcare sector. Approximetly 200 staff in size, they are entering an interesting period of their, over 100 year existence and need a Project Manager to join them.
Project Managers should come with a certain toolkit, this being stakeholder, third party, risk & issue, resource and budget management. They should be able to put project plans together, RAID logs, ensure strong governance is in place. All of this will be needed as the Project Management framework is now being built within this organisation that didn't previously exist. You will need to be someone who can help set this up and take the framework from nothing to one that works for a company of this size.
The management of multiple, concurrently running projects is something you will need to have had extensive experience of and be able to demonstrate how you have done this. It's a juggling act and we will need to know how you coped on a personal as well as professional level. How you ensured you didn't lose focus on one project or feel that you were becoming maxxed out. How you kept various stakeholders abreast of key information and reported succinctly on individual projects including the bumps along the road that most projects have. You will be able to delegate to and plan resource which has its own complications when staff numbers are at the size of this company. The projects you will oversee will range between IT and Business projects. An idea of some of the projects is a physical office move, Office 365 and transitioning to become an organisation that offers Insuarance as opposed to indemnity.
Prince2 is an absolute must but experience of working in an Agile environment and having knowlegde of other frameworks will help.
