Security Architecture Consultant
Fully Remote (within UK)
Are you exceptional? Can you hold an audience? Have you the bumps, bruises, learnings and achievements that you can bring to the table when working at coneceptual and contextual level and then bridge into logical architecure space (not dive down into the physical compenent levels). This is strategic work and not the nuts and bolts.
Be-IT's client are a global SI / Consultancy brand ranked in the top 100 within FTSE 500 and are offering, what I consider to be, a rare opportunity for an interim Consultant. Their huge ambition is to grow a market leading Security business and you will be tasked with helping them shape this fledgling operation.
You will work with the Head of Security Consulting in pitching business to existing and targetted Clients. To do this you need to be someone who can lead, take authority and bring ideas to the table from your previous learnings, experience and achievements. This will allow your audience to recognise they are engaging with an expert, someone who knows their field and who they are happy to place their confidence in which allows you and my Client to build trust and a strong relationshsip with their Clients.
This is not a pre-sales position. This is strategic work you will be carrying out.
If you have previous experience of working within Telco and / or Public Sector this would be advantageous. Understanding the regulatory changes to TSR's and all the changes this means and the impact this will have on the Telco industry or you recognise the drive within Public Sector to build the maturity of security up within Security, Infosec, Cyber etc. However, if your experience comes from another sector(s) but you can demonstrate significant achievements and that strategic thinking capability then you could easily be the option my Client selects.
You should be experienced in unpacking and qualifying Technical Security Architecture challenges via workshop and interview and very experienced in the application of Security Architecture, Security good practices and frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA, ETOM, ISO, CSA CCM & STAR, etc.). Able to evaluate, advise, estimate, shape, scope, plan and price outcomes in both billable and pre-sales engagements and someone who can integrate and communicate with; executives; non-technical business units and functional teams, and technologists.
You will need to be supported by relevant Security and Architecture Certifications.
I stick by what I said previously in that I don't think many opportunities like this are in the market right now so please, don't miss the opportunity and do get in touch. CV in Word format please to firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 0131 344 4781
