Our client are a Global IT outsourcing organisation and are looking for a talented IT Support Technician on an initial 3 month contract.
You will be responsible for supporting the IT department on both internal & external systems, resolving issues passed on by 1st/2nd line support teams and liaising with and supporting our clients’ customers on issues within predefined service target and processes.
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrable experience in the following.
- An in depth understanding of IT Infrastructure and services.
- Experience of supporting some of the following: Microsoft Server (2008, 2012 R2, 2016), Microsoft client (Windows 7, Windows 10), Linux, VMWare.
- Understanding of Microsoft end user technology stack
- Experience of management/administration of VPN’s, firewalls, endpoint protection, anti-malware and email-security solutions
- Proven track record of working in large scale, multi system environments.
