We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our large financial services clients who are seeking an experienced Service Manager (Disaster Recovery & Service Continuity) to join their business on a permanent basis.
As the Service Manager for DR/SC you will ensure that customers can use their services when they are expecting to while also making sure that the business can react to changing market conditions in an agile and flexible manner. This role ensures that in the event of a service or component failure that critical services are able to continue to operate or can be recovered within agreed timescales.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, driven and results orientated individual with excellent planning, negotiation, organisational and analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity.
Experience in the following is preferred: Setting up DR governance that meets regulatory requirements; experience in migrating from a distributed decentralised model towards a single centralised one; experience building and enforcing policy and procedure around DR/SC; past experience working with Service Design and transition to influence new services; experience working with other ITS functions to deliver on availability targets; understanding of how lean process relates to lower cost of operations; experience working within an enterprise environment with more than 1000 customers.
Desirable experience would include: Service now ITSM toolset; automated tooling in DR/SC space; automating reporting and creating MI dashboards.
