We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our large financial services clients who are seeking an experienced Service Manager (Software Asset Management) to join their business on a permanent basis.
As the Service Manager for SAM you will ensure that customers can use their services when they are expecting to while also making sure that the business can react to changing market conditions in an agile and flexible manner. This role ensures maximum value for money on behalf of the business for software assets.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, driven and results orientated individual with excellent planning, negotiation, organisational and analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering Software Asset Management.
Experience in the following is preferred: setting up SAM governance and deploying it to an enterprise environment; migrating from a distributed decentralised model towards a single centralised one; build and enforce policy and procedure around software asset management; experience working with the full lifecycle of software asset management from procurement to retirement
Desirable experience would include: Service now ITSM toolset; experience with the SNOWSOFT toolset.
