Looking to work fully remote with 1 day every 2 weeks in the office? Do you primarily use .Net, C# and SQL Server? 

Be-IT is working exclusively with a world-class, full-scale, retirement solutions provider which has recently gone through a major acquisition. 

Due to this recent investment, they are looking to hire 2-3 .Net Developers to join an already established team of around 10 software engineers in Edinburgh or Glasgow. As above this role is 90% remote working with 1-2 days every few weeks in the office for culture days. The team you will be joining is mature and is mostly senior developers who have been with the organisation for a number of years. 

You will be involved in; Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including design, development, testing, implementation and support; Design and develop solutions using primarily .NET, C# and SQL Server; Work with SMEs, Business Analysts and Solution Architects to understand functional & non-functional requirements and technical design; Maintain high quality technical documentation; Promote best practice in C#, .NET and SQL development; Undertake REST API testing. 

Experience required: At least 2-3 years experience in.Net development (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server); Web-based technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, Javascript & Javascript frameworks, AJAX, jQuery, CSS, XML; SQL Server 2012/2014/2016

Desirable experience would be: SSIS (highly desirable), SSRS; RESTful/WCF web services; SoapUI / ReadyAPI Automated API Testing; Exposure to Azure technologies and Azure SDK; Qlik / BI Technologies; Selenium automation through C# web drivers; Understanding of data modelling and database design; Knowledge of investment and pension products, including regulatory framework.
