The role

You will join an established technical Geosciences team as a spatial Geoscience publishing specialist, ensuring consistently high quality across the publications. Ideally, you will have knowledge of several technologies across database applications including; SQLserver, MS Access, ESRI, ArcGIS or similar. You will quality assure products with respect to reference standards, including copy; work with the Geoscience teams to ensure process and workflows are followed; be active with the R&D team and push for new innovative functionality with the suite of products: compile reports on behalf of the leadership team in for senior management. You will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills and will ideally have a degree in computer science, geoscience, applied mathematics, physics, engineering or similar. 


To be successful in this role you will need experience of publishing scientific material within Geoscience and have knowledge of the adobe suits (InDesign, Acrobat). You will have excellent communications skills and provide routine updates to key stakeholders.   

It would be advantageous if you have any knowledge of one or more of the following; ESRI software suite, ArcMap
