We’re seeking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable Technical Test Team Lead for an established and successful software consultancy dedicated to delivering software solutions to the healthcare industry. The software they build provides critical support to major hospitals, A&E Departments and emergency care teams. With offices across Europe and ambitious plans for continued growth they are well placed to provide further career progression. This is a great opportunity for a Testing professional to join one of the UK’s leading software providers to the laboratory management and healthcare industries.
Reporting to the Test Manager, your responsibilities include: acting as point of contact for all automation and technical test related queries; advise team members on all technical aspects of testing; authorise releases of software in conjunction with the development leads; to raise, track and re-test any defects or issues identified during testing, and fully document them; participate in Agile ceremonies and finally actively participate in the on-going development of testing processes.
To be considered for the position, you should have the following: strong proven programing ability in C# and VB.Net; a minimum of 2 years’ automation experience as a technical software tester; experience testing commercially available off the shelf automation products or bespoke solutions; previous experience of managing individuals and leading a team; ISEB certificate in Software Testing (Foundation essential); experience working in an agile development team employing SCRUM is beneficial; experience of TDD (test-driven development) and BDD; experience of SQL and Oracle databases and strong experience in test planning, preparation, execution and reporting.
