We have a number of opportunities available for mid – senior level UX / UI Consultants for an established and highly successful consultancy business based in central Glasgow.


Working as part of the Service Design team you will be part of a team that values innovative, usability-lead design solutions to complex business issues delivering quality digital results for a wide range of top tier clients. Activities you will be responsible for include user and market research, user journey mapping, workshopping, wire-framing, rapid prototyping and usability testing


Experience & understanding of: Scoping (project estimation), planning and delivering UX/UI projects for a range of systems, apps and digital interfaces; Experience creating key deliverables such as detailed user journeys, user flows, wireframes, prototypes or UI designs for complex systems, websites or mobile apps; Experience with HTML, CSS and jQuery; Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative user research techniques; Experience using tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, OmniGraffle, Sketch, Balsamiq or Axure to create wireframes, designs and prototypes; Working in Agile teams to deliver rapid prototypes/ proof of concepts; Experience in service design activities is a bonus; Ability to Design, plan and lead user research, design and usability testing activities; Synthesise insights from discovery and incorporate into UX deliverables; Experience working with clients and developers to bring designs to life, balancing user needs, business requirements and technical constraints; Lead Service Design projects; Engage in usability testing to continuously iterate ideas and designs; Keep up with UX / UI best practices & trends and incorporate into deliverables; Run workshops with our clients and present deliverables to senior stakeholders; Mentor more junior UX team members
