The role

You will join a close-knit team of UI, UX and Front-end Developers and Designers based in a modern and conveniently located office in Edinburgh to play a pivotal role in client’s continued development and growth plans. You will develop easy to navigate, intuitive and seamless user interfaces and work closely with the wider IT team to develop server-side technologies to support large-scale client facing digital projects in public sector, financial services and commercial sectors across the UK.  


To be successful in this role, you will need experience of UX design across digital large-scale projects, you will be shaping UX solutions user stories, prototypes, wireframes/flows and design specifications using best industry practices and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be able to mentor other UX designers on the project and guide the team, suggest appropriate approaches, methods and technologies, demonstrate an innovative, flexible and team-oriented approach using an Agile and User Centred Design methodology. 

From a technical perspective, you need to have an understanding of online usability analysis tools, knowledge of Axure and Balsamiq and a working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

It would be advantageous if you had any experience of working on projects within the financial or public sector.
